Gyroscopic Bike

Creativity and innovation is something I have always embraced. Today I came across the GyroBike, which is not available as of yet, but is definitely an excellent idea for getting kids started on riding bikes.

GyroBike is based on a gyroscopic front wheel to enhance balance and eliminate training wheels and the fear of falling. Aside from starting kids riding, the possibilities seem endless from using the wheels to train adults to ride a bike and eliminate the fear and embarrassment of falling while learning to ride, to using the wheels for people with disabilities who may have slightly compromised balance.

The GyroBike product is not available as of yet, but check out GyroBike and their video. I like the concept of eliminating training wheels and having a gyro assisted bicycle for kids to learn how to ride. Heck there has been a few times if I had had them, maybe I wouldn’t have caught a case of road rash.
