Today is another sunshine filled 100 plus degree day, which is uncommon for this part of the country. The last time this area had three consecutive days of 100 plus temperatures was in 1981. It is not a bad heat though because the humidity is around 25% and most of the day there is a breeze.

It is funny how most people complain and hide inside, I enjoy riding n the heat of the day. I slow down some, stay hydrated, enjoy the smell of the hot air, and the feeling of the heat on my arms, legs, and face as I cruise along. If you find the right pace you can ride along and barely feel like you are sweating because the sweat evaporates so quickly. Then when you stop for a light or stop sign it just flows profusely until you start moving again and you dry out until the next stop.

Once I return home I stand in the shower until my core temperature lowers, I feel cool, and stop sweating. Afterwards I feel like I have gotten rid of all the waste and impurity’s in my body and know I will sleep so good that night.

It is going to be another hot day and I am going to enjoy it.
