Yesterday was reminiscent of early fall. It was a cool day with intermittent drizzle and continual overcast. The smell of rain in the air, the drizzle on my face, and washing the road grit off my legs, all reminded me of what I liked about being on a bike when it rains.

I am sure this opinion of the rain is being generated from over twenty consecutive days of sunshine and nice weather, so if you ask me about the rain in the winter I am sure I will have a somewhat different outlook.

However, the enjoyment of riding will remain the same.
