Yahoo announced: North America’s Most Bike-Friendly Cities

Exhibit A: Portland, Ore., just displaced Copenhagen as the No. 2 most bike-friendly city in the world.

No surprise here. All a person needs to do is see how many bicyclists are on the streets. For sometime the goal of the Portland cycling community is to get the city a Platinum rating for bicycling. This community has been very pro-active by being involved in politics, bicycling infrastructure, and community outreach.
